[indication]
This product is used to treat severe infections caused by sensitive Gram-negative bacteria, such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Proteus, Serratia, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Staphylococcus methicillin-sensitive strains, such as sepsis, lower respiratory tract infection, intestinal infection, pelvic infection, abdominal cavity infection, skin and soft tissue infection, and complicated urinary tract infection.

[usage and dosage]
1. Adult intramuscular injection or diluted intravenous infusion, 80mg (80,000 units), or 1-1.7mg/kg once every 8 hours; or 5mg / kg once every 24 hours. The course of treatment is from 7 days to 14 days.
2. Intramuscular injection or diluted intravenous infusion in children, 2.5mg / kg once every 12 hours; or 1.7mg / kg once every 8 hours. The course of treatment is from 7 days to 14 days.

[untoward effect]
1. In the process of medication, it may cause hearing loss, tinnitus or ear fullness, and walking instability and vertigo may occur when affecting the vestibular function. Renotoxic reactions such as hematuria, significant reduction of urination times or reduction of urine output, loss of appetite, and extreme thirst may also occur.
2. A small number of patients may have ototoxic symptoms such as hearing loss, tinnitus or ear fullness after drug withdrawal, which should be paid attention to.

[taboo]
It is forbidden for those allergic to this product or other aminoglycosides.

[matters need attention]
1. This product should be used with caution in the following situations: water loss, eighth cranial nerve damage, myasthenia gravis or Parkinson's disease and renal impairment.
2. Cross-allergy, allergic to an aminoglycoside antibiotic such as streptomycin, amikacin patients, may be allergic to this product.
3. Routine urine tests and renal function tests should be performed regularly before and during medication to prevent serious nephrotoxic reactions.
4. After the first saturation dose (1-2mg / kg), the maintenance amount for patients with renal dysfunction, vestibular function or hearing loss should be reduced.
5. Patients should be given enough moisture to reduce renal tubular damage.
6. Should not be used for subcutaneous injection.
7. Interference with diagnosis: This product can increase the measured value of alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (GOT), serum bilirubin concentration and lactate dehydrogenase concentration; the measured value of blood calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium concentration may be reduced.
